The Implementation of "Maneuh di Sunda" Local Wisdom in Character Education at Purwakarta Regency

The study aims to analyze the value of local culture "maneuh di sunda" in character education at Purwakarta Regency. theory used is social construction through three elements dialectics, namely externalization, objectivization and internalization, then strengthened by concept wisdom. methodology this a qualitative approach with case method. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews document studies. Interviews conducted towards 30 respondents. analysis uses four stages analysis; data collection, reduction, presentation, conclusion drawing. results showed that Sundanese wisdom, especially was successfully applied elementary school students This important because midst onslaught technological information advances are so rapid, need expose wisdom-based education. Besides fulfill mandate law, it also preserve cultural values ancestral heritage, as generation who live global environment do not forget their culture. can be model for other schools regions adjusted respective cultures.
